Production Scheduling

• Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for CRM.
• Align rolling schedules with: Order priorities
  Plant capacity
  Raw material availability (HR coils)
• Coordinate with:Pickling Line (PL)
  Tandem Cold Mill (TCM)
  Annealing, Skin Pass Mill (SPM), Color Coating Line, Galvalume, etc.
• Optimize mill utilization and minimize downtime/changeover losses.

Order Planning & Execution

• Monitor order book and prioritise based on:Customer requirements
  Delivery deadlines
  Product mix
• Ensure correct sequencing of orders to improve yield and reduce rejections.
• Track order execution status from input (HR coil) to finished CR coil.

Dispatch & Delivery Management

• Plan dispatch schedules in coordination with logistics teams.
• Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) to customers.
• Monitor finished goods inventory and avoid overstock/shortage.
• Coordinate with marketing/sales teams for dispatch priorities.

Coordination & Communication

• Act as a link between production, quality, logistics, and marketing teams.
• Participate in daily production/dispatch meetings.
• Provide real-time updates on:

Production progress
Delivery commitments
Delays/issues

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Track KPIs such as:Schedule adherence
  Delivery performance
  Throughput time
  Inventory levels
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards.
• Analyze bottlenecks and suggest corrective actions.

Inventory Management

• Monitor: WIP and Finished Goods stock across CRM stages
• Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid:

Excess inventory holding cost
Production disruptions

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure scheduling aligns with quality norms and specifications.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to handle deviations/rejections.
• Adhere to safety and operational standards.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to:Improve throughput
  Reduce lead time
  Enhance planning accuracy
• Digital initiatives (SAP/ERP /in house scheduling tools).
  

• Executed procurement and sourcing of capital equipment, MRO spares, and services for mining sector.
