I am a Brand and Digital Marketing and Communications professional focused on marketing brands to their desired consumers through digital means, with over 20 years of cross-industry experience. Real-time experience involved with the client’s business processes and their attempt to synergize holistic, brand-driven systems internally, and their dependency on external agencies to maintain and add value to their brands has, I should dare say, both sensitized me to their real brand concerns and has exposed me to the apathy and lack of brand perspective internally, and how external agencies view a brand owner. It is here that I could dare say that I could essentially help facilitate bridging the gap and help visualize through the lenses of digital marketing. And finally, there is an imperative today to re-look at way media is consumed. It is a landscape of podcasts, reels, shorts and flickertising or as they call it doomscrolling. It can be measured. One cannot treat people as consumers alone anymore. They are an audience first, and they expect to be surprised and entertained but not shocked. They are the new voyeurs on highways most people would not believe even exist. And most of they invent and lay down these highways every day. They mesh, mash, tune in and tune out when they want.
