Carried out the internship in the month of January 2023 under supervision of Prof. Lingaraj Sahoo at Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India (IIT Guwahati). During this period, I learned Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of rice callus, Agro-inoculation of cowpea plants with MYMIV (Mungbean Yellow Mosaic India Virus) dimer infectious clones, isolation of Plant genomic DNA, isolation of plant total RNA using Trizol reagent, agarose gel electrophoresis, and Real time polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).
