Blackrock Inc. (Associate, Global Financial Reporting)

• Working in a supervisory role with auditors on Fund's Investment existence testing for 3000~funds in the Mutuals, ETF's and Alternatives fund space, across multiple jurisdictions/GAAPS.
• Responsible for end to end Financial reporting process for APAC ETF's that includes overseeing Financial statements review, Fund audits, coordination with administrators to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial statements to Fund Shareholders and Regulatory Agencies. Also part of the reporting group for the U.S. 40 Act funds.
• Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting processes. This involves resolving audit and broker queries to ensure accurate representation of the figures and disclosure in the Financial Statements.
• Co-led the global audit support team and Implemented process enhancements that resulted in increased efficiencies and tactical saves of 400+ hours via automation. Setup customized portal access for Fund auditors by leveraging the technology available at the counterparty' end resulting into audit fee reduction.
• Led the Investment Manager's LOR process as a part of the Fund's board material deliverables for the BlackRock Cayman domiciled funds. Also migrated new support activities for the same fund range thereby increasing scope of work for the team.
• Established & drive fund auditors relationships in India resulting in massive improvements in timely audit closures, expectations settings/ debriefs, streamlined process and coordination.

SS&C GlobeOp (Sr. Associate, Fund Accounting)

• NAV calculation and determination for UK and Dublin domiciled funds.
• Master and feeders allocations preparation using the accounting software (Geneva & Advent Partner).
• Calculation of performance and management fees payable to Fund Managers and booking of accruals as per client budgets.
• Analysis of P&L statements, dividends and corporate actions.
