A hybrid method of feature extraction for signature verification using CNN and HOG, 2025-

Designed and implemented a hybrid feature extraction method for offline and online signature verification. Combined Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) for robust feature representation. Preprocessed signature images for noise reduction and normalization. Fused deep and handcrafted features to improve verification accuracy and reduce error rates. Evaluated model performance using standard metrics, like FAR, FRR, and EER.
