  • Created preprocessor input files for FLEX5 that are tailored to meet the unique wind conditions of the specific site.
  • Executed load assessment of wind turbine using aero-elastic simulation code FLEX5.
  • Successfully completed over 35 projects, including the Germany market where compliance with both DiBT regulations and IEC61400-1 standards were required.
  • Contributed to the third-party certification of site-specific load assessments.

  • Prototyping a 2-wheeler exhaust system for BS6 emission norms:
  • Temperature profiling of 2-wheeler exhaust in standard dynamometer test using K-type thermocouples and data acquisition using NI DAQ and LabVIEW.
  • Variation in emission quantity with respect to rpm, temperature of inflow exhaust gas to catalytic converter was studied.
  • Checked heat storage capability of various 3M materials.
  • Studied the effect of clogging the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) on fuel efficiency:
  • Made an experimental setup which simulates the clogging of DPF by applying same amount of backpressure in engine.
  • Used Control Unit Diagnostic tool (Bosch KTS) to monitor Engine Control Unit to extract fuel consumption, EGR valve position.
