RESPONSIBLITIES:

Oracle Prod/Dev/UAT DBA production support.

Monitoring Oracle databases through OEM 18c.

Oracle database Installation, Migration, Patching and Upgradation

Backups using Datapump and RMAN

Troubleshoot issues related to database.

Creating reports for auditing through Servicenow.

DR using Switchover and Switchback mechanism.

Handling critical level 1 calls.

Applying quarterly patches & bug fixes as and when required.

Creating SR’s and working with Oracle on fixing issues

Upgrade of Oracle databases from 12C to 19C.

SQL Server space Management.

SQL Server database management and monitoring.

Mongo administration

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Marks and Spencer plc (also known as M&S) is a major British multinational retailer headquartered in the City of Westminster, London. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. It specializes in the selling of clothing, home products and luxury food products. M&S was founded in 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer in Leeds. The company also began to sell branded goods like Kellogg's Corn Flakes in November 2008. M&S currently has 959 stores across the U.K including 615 that only sell food products.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Oracle L2 Prod/Dev/UAT DBA support.

Monitoring Oracle databases through OEM 12c.

User, Profile and Roles management.

Restore and Recovery using RMAN.

RMAN duplication- Active database cloning/Backup based cloning.

Setting up DG broker for managing Oracle databases.

Managing Primary and Physical Standby databases using DGMGRL.

DR Testing using Switchover and Failover mechanism.

Performing role transition as required

Installation of ASM, creating disk-groups and maintenance.

Disk group and Disk configuration using ASM 11g.

Installing new 11g Oracle RDBMS Homes.

Applying quarterly patches & bug fixes as and when required.

Upgrade of Oracle databases from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4.

Managing RAC 11g cluster.

Rolling patching on RAC 11g Grid Infrastructure and databases.

Upgrading RAC databases from 11.2.0.2/11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4.

Grid Infra Structure upgrade to 11.2.0.4 and 12.1.0.2.
