Regional Centre for Urban and Environmental Studies (RCUES) is a premier institute for capacity building, research and dissemination of knowledge for the urban sector in the Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Nagaland, Meghalaya and Andaman Nicobar Islands. RCUES was set up in the year 1970 by Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India to bridge the gap between research and practice, and to provide critical and objective analyses of trends and prospects for urban development.
As part of SAKSHAM PRAMAAN RCUES, Osmania University is supporting the efforts of National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) in the evaluations of Targeted Interventions (TIs) in South Indian States. Also as part of SAKSHAM PRAVAAH Project, RCUES, OU building the capacities of Health Work Professional of Tuberculosis on Counseling and Soft Skills.

1. Coordinate with TI divisions of SACS (State Aids Control Society) under supervision of Programme Coordinator/faculty in-charge
2. Identify and create a pool of evaluators for TI/ LWS evaluations
3. Conduct capacity building programmes for evaluators
4. Prepare a calendar of TI/ LWS evaluation in consultation with SACS
5. Supervise the TI evaluations
6. Collate data for all TI evaluations and present to faculty and respective SACS as a formal de-brief
7. Prepare reports for submission to TISS and NACO
8. Travel as per the programme requirement in 4 States and 1 (UT)
9. Reporting and Documentation
10. Any other task assigned by the Director, RCUES, OU and Programme Coordinator/Faculty In-charge.

  • Working for the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), the WeAct project, which was sponsored by Accenture, as a marketing executive and looking after four states Developing, improving and implementing marketing plans unique to different products (Food & Agro, Handicrafts, Household utilities) for the existing women entrepreneurs
  • Federate individuals from vulnerable groups and especially SHGs and Common Interest Groups (CIG) and women entrepreneurs
