  • Collaborated closely with Legal Team based in Israel to implement latest regulatory updates affecting Israeli customers. These updates encompassed modifications for different transaction types, such as recurring and non-recurring, as well as various reason codes like UNAUTH and Billing Error Disputes.
  • Ticket Retrieval migration - Spearheaded migration of "Ticket Retrieval" event from Compass Gold to SCM 2.0, aiming to streamline Chargeback validation processes. Delving into processor event's business logic, I assessed potential impacts post-migration. Initially, identifying processors capable of supporting event posed some challenges, necessitating meticulous analysis of event patterns and configuration files. Taking charge of integration and end-to-end testing, I conducted comprehensive tests to anticipate various event sequences, fostering an early issue detection and resolution approach.
  • Migration of “Chargeback on CREDIT” - Conducted comprehensive analysis of Compass system as part of this migration to SCM. This involved investigating supported processors, case volumes, event code usage, and PayPal's internal event storage. Additionally, I delved into legacy C++ code to understand dynamic event mapping, especially for processors like GE and Synchrony. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, I crafted a robust development and testing strategy.
  • VISA-HSBC onboarding - Led onboarding of VISA and its sub-processor GLOBALPAY (HSBC) for Chargeback case submission. Prior to onboarding, I analyzed legacy C++ code to understand event mappings and internal status translations by PayPal. Development entailed integrating configurations into various chargeback API components for case creation and closure. Extensive investigation into batch-aggregator code facilitated the implementation of case closure process for VISA-HSBC disputes.
  • Led UCP(Unified Configuration Platform) migration for five API components, transitioning from Remote Configuration Service portal to production. This ensured seamless dynamic configuration adjustments, aligning with PayPal's site availability goals and minimizing environment-specific inconsistencies.
  • Settlement LTA migration - Led separation of Settlement and Chargeback code bases, migrating legacy C++ finproc and attck proc batches to raptor batch to enable case creation support. This initiative standardized Chargeback management across PayPal. Proactively owned migration of Fin proc batch, integrating code changes and contributing to low-level design for seamless transition.
