  • Responsible to solve customer high value problems (HVP) in process optimization and trouble shooting projects like chamber matching, defect reduction, yield improvement, technology /recipe transfer to High Volume Manufacturing fab, covering different technology nodes.
  • Conducted in-depth analysis of Etch process diagnostics data (e.g. defect and inline metrology data) using statistical tools, implementing process controls with tool sensors that resulted in a 20% reduction in variability.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to automate the continuous monitoring of process run and equipment alarms. As well, for optimization of preventive/ corrective maintenance activities in multiple fleets from PVD, CVD, Etch, Implantation, and CMP process tools in both logic and memory fab.
  • Implemented advanced statistical analysis and DMAIC/8D problem solving approach in projects that results in better stakeholder coordination, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Provided onsite and remote support to the industry partners and customers located globally.
  • Deliver insightful presentations at internal forums, and industry conferences, positioning team/company as a thought leader in technology space.
  • Trainer and power user of JMP statistical software, facilitated training sessions across the company to strengthen statistical expertise and for fostering collaborative work environment.

Career Break

Break
06.2021 - 04.2022

  • Completed relevant professional development courses in Statistics, Data Science and AI foundation, and in few simulation software like ANSYS, COMSOL, SOLIDWORKS, etc.

Research Consultant

Electrohms Private Limited
1 2021 - 5 2021
  • Collaborated with PhD mentor and team at CSIR National Aerospace Laboratories for development of industrial grade leakage current sensing device.
  • Streamline research processes like sensor fabrication experiments, simulation, collection and analysis of data, etc., to meet tight deadlines of business project.
  • Provided knowledge sharing to juniors for the continuation

Women Scientist/Doctoral Researcher

CSIR National Aerospace Laboratories
01.2016 - 11.2020
  • Project Investigator for the development of GMR based Spin valve sensor.
  • Design and perform various experiments to fabricate and characterize highly sensitive GMR thin film systems of thickness < 30 nm, with thermal stability.
  • Developed and implemented new process flow methodologies to enhance material uniformity and wafer yield.
  • Modeling, as well as both static and dynamic simulation of magnetic materials to understand trends in experimental results.
  • Used advanced characterization techniques (SEM, EDAX, AFM, XRD, XRR, XPS, Profilometry, spectroscopy, etc) to analyze thin films, etching profiles, deposition quality, and lithography patterns.
  • Development and testing of Industrial grade sensor chips for various automotive applications like position, speed, angle, pressure, current sensing, etc.
