Master's Dissertation | Jan 2024- July 2025
Project Title: Biochemical Investigations of Cellular and Standard Proteins using Light-Emitting Diode Induced Autofluorescence Spectroscopy (LED-IAF), Dept. of Biophysics, Manipal School of Life Sciences.
Objective: Led a comprehensive study to explore the effect of photobiomodulation on SH-SY5Y and HEK293 cellular protein topology by utilizing LED-IAF.
Practical Implications: Detection of protein biomarkers sensitive to photobiomodulation for pathophysiologic relevance of neuroblastoma cells in cancer research. Possible clinical relevance in identifying and characterizing protein biomarkers in neuroblastoma cells for ease of cancer detection using LED-IAF as a non-invasive procedure.
Conference Presentations: Presented findings at the Manipal Research Colloquium (MRC) 2024, Frontiers in Optics + Laser Sciences (FiO+LS, online) 2024, Optica, Denver, Colorado and The DAE-BRNS National Laser Symposium (NLS-33), 2025 showcasing innovative contributions to protein structural biology.
