• Evaluation of vendors including RFP analysis.
• Review and the gap assessment of the end-to-end process of accounting and enabling process re-engineering as per the requirements of IFRS 17/Ind AS 117
• Gap assessment of data mapping and the process thereby enabling the financial transformation.
• Analysis of the existing systems and its suitability and adaptability.
• Finalizing the relevant approach and methodology in terms of IFRS 17/Ind As 117 based on the results of product assessment.
• Managing various stakeholders in terms of educating and training with reference to process and software.
• Data validation and User acceptance testing of the output samples generated by the software
• Finalizing on the transition approaches as prescribed by IFRS 17/Ind AS 117.

Ind AS 109:

• Setting up the framework for the business model.
• Review of the portfolio of Investments and classification.

Stakeholder and People Management:

• Setting clear objectives and expectation with the stakeholders thereby avoiding disputes
• Ensuring confidentiality in all forms of communication.
• Handling conflict resolution and deadline negotiations
• Managing people effectively to ensure smooth deliveries across the functions.

• Driving the project on IFRS implementation, product development and managing the core team as well as the cross-functional co-ordination as Project Lead.
• Development of IFRS 17 compliant CSM engine and reporting software.
• Responsible for IFRS 17, IFRS 9 & IFRS 16 compliant financial reporting to various clients for standalone and consolidation purposes and working closely with financial reporting requirements.
• Construction of Financial statements and providing the Regulatory based report framework for Insurance companies based on IFRS 17 standards.
• Building the IFRS core team on the project of IFRS 17 for the development and end-end implementation along with the integration with the core insurance system.
• In-depth analysis of product, data structure, data classification, reporting framework and structural framework of the financial reporting as per the requirements of the stakeholders based on the IFRS 17 standard.
• Driving the development of Financial Planning & Analysis and Regulatory frameworks tool for insurance companies.
• Engaged in business process improvements for various clients.

People management:

• Ability to strategize and solve problems.

• Review and Finalization of IGAAP Financials statement in accordance with IRDA regulatory framework.
• Finalization of IND AS 117/IND AS 109 compliant Financial statements framework for the purpose of holding company consolidation.
• Engagement with the statutory auditors on a quarterly basis for the finalization of IGAAP and IND AS Financial Statements.
• Performing GAP analysis between IGAAP and IND AS and preparing adjustments and reconciliation workings.
• Handling of Internal Financial controls (IFC).
• Variance analysis on financial statements and scope for improvements.
• Ensure seamless integration of various financial reporting data from other ERPs to Financial Reporting systems.
• To manage the Investment Operations & Compliances with various regulatory reporting of Investment and meeting the Investment Committee and Board requirements.
• Responsible for preparation of Board/Audit committee-related documents.
