Passionate and dedicated Chemistry enthusiast with hands-on experience as a Research Associate, specializing in Organic chemistry. Currently involved in groundbreaking research focused on Developing natural dyes for textile applications and enhancing human wellness funded by All India Council of Technical Education - Indian Knowledge System (AICTE-IKS)

With a solid foundation in Chemistry and a good number of publications under my belt, I am now eagerly looking forward to furthering my academic journey by pursuing a PhD. My goal is to delve deeper into organic chemistry -chemical synthesis, environmental chemistry and contribute to cutting-edge research initiatives aimed at addressing real-world challenges.

• FESEM Workshop (June,2023) - Learned about FESEM operation, principles, and applications
• Co-ordinated in establishing the "Natural Fibre and Natural Dyeing Training and Research Centre" including installation of Handloom , Jacquard and supporting accessories with Industrial Collaboration in Kumaraguru College of Technology under AICTE-IKS Project
• Presented research findings at The Asian Textile Conference (ATEXCON , August 2023)
• Attended a workshop on color match software and its applications
• Organized workshops on "Natural dyes and its application" for dyers,weavers and students
• Trained 200+ dyers and weavers on natural dyeing and created awareness programme

Presented a paper titled : "Effects of various natural mordants on Babool based dyeing of recycled cotton fibre for sustainable textile coloration: An Investigation"

Presented a paper titled "Application of natural dyes on Handloom fabrics towards making sustainable apparels" and received the "Best Paper Award"

Presented a paper titled: "Enhancing Textile Comfort and Wellness: Integrating Natural Dyes for Sustainable and Health-Promoting Clothing"

• Title: Synthesis of Nanoparticles for Heavy Metal Detection in Water (October,2019) Synthesized copper and silver nanoparticles using green methods (magnetic stirring & ultrasonication) for the detection of heavy metals in water.
• "Development and Application of Natural Dyes for reviving handloom and improving human wellness" funded by All India Council of Technical Education (ongoing)

• Led the development of various home textile products ( yoga mats, cradles, infant wear, tote bags, laptop pouches) utilizing different natural fibres/bio-mordants/natural dyes/designs/
• Conducted a comprehensive battery of tests to ensure product quality and functionality, including Instrumental analysis using SEM, FTIR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, for material characterization, antimicrobial studies,color fastness and strength testing
• Contributing to patent filing for novel applications of natural dyes in the products developed.
