Project Description:
GM's Infotainment System focuses on the Central Stack Machine (CSM) and connectivity modules, which enable seamless interaction with critical in-vehicle features such as navigation, media, entertainment, and climate control
Key Responsibilities:
- Identified automatable test cases from manual test sheets and scripted them for execution on Android-OS-based Hardware Machines and emulators.
- Developed and executed automation scripts using Keyword-Driven (KDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, leveraging Gherkin for writing feature files.
- Responsible for Delivering the automation scripts to the On-site QA team every week.
- Involved in Framework Developments(KDD, BDD) and some R&D tasks for increasing automation testing scope.
- Developed codes for the modules,which helped in reducing the steps to 30% and helped to execute test scripts in bulk run all at once without any issue.
- Executing sanity, smoke, Functional, and regression scripts on the hardware for every cadence and sprint.
- Raise defect and trace it till closure in JIRA tool debug the script issue and fix the issue in script
- Participated in weekly and daily status meetings with the team, and developers to discuss open issues and communicate with the onsite team
- Responsible for Code committing in Gerrit and Maintenance.
