Project Description :

Blue cross is one of the leading health care insurances provided in Atlantic region of United States covering Maryland, Delaware and Washington DC. Model office project was built to create data warehouse for multiple subject areas including members, claims, and revenue etc. I was responsible for analyzing source systems data, designing and developing ETL mappings.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Development of Informatica mappings to load data from files/oracle to target Oracle database.
• Created Mappings using various transformations like Filter, Router, Joiner, Aggregator, Expression Update Strategy, Lookup and Union.
• Implemented slowly changing dimension (SCD) Type 1 and Type 2 for Change data capture in Dimension Tables.
• Created Mapplet and Re-usable Transformations for applying few logics.
• Involved in Debugging and Troubleshooting Informatica mappings.

Deutsche Bank is one of the leading investment banks, which is having branches all over the world. The objective of the project is to monitor the trades and reports the suspicious activity on those trades. ETL Framework mainly divided into three stages ETL process contains different engines (namely validation, derivation, calculation, Trades...etc.), along with Performing specific operation. Oracle and flat files are sources.

Data warehouse is maintained in oracle.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Created mappings to build business rules to load data using Informatica PowerCenter Implemented slowly changing strategy (Type-1 & Type-2) to manage the data in the dimension tables.
• Created Mappings using transformations like Source Qualifier, Filter, Aggregator, Expression, Sorter, Joiner, Update, Lookup and Union.
• Involved in performance tuning of Informatica mappings.

Frost bank was preparing for creating a certified global copy of deal repository. As a part of this, Trade repository project was initiated to provide reporting services for a wide range of over-the-counter financial instruments. The new trade repository will serve all financial institutions and will deliver flexible participation levels that adapt to the diverse profiles and needs of all stakeholders and actors in the derivatives market.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Created mappings in informatica PowerCenter Mapping designer.
• Designed and developed Informatica mappings using Expression, Joiner, sorter, Unconnected Lookup and update strategy transformation.
