Process Innovation & AI implementation in Presales at CloudFuze: I spearheaded the enhancement of the Presales process by creating a centralized repository in JIRA. This allowed for efficient and organized handling of client interactions, including demos, POCs, technical queries, and security concerns. I defined clear workflows and phases for each work item and established SLAs (Service Level Agreements) for every item to ensure timely and efficient client service. Additionally, I implemented AI-driven automation to handle frequently asked client questions, significantly improving response times and overall client experience.
Research and Competitive Analysis: I conduct in-depth research on CloudFuze's competitors to identify product gaps and unique features. This involves preparing a detailed backlog with clear feature descriptions and then collaborating closely with the engineering team. This ensures that our product evolves in line with market demands and client expectations, strengthening our competitive edge.
Security and Compliance Coordination: I serve as the primary point of contact for all security and compliance matters at CloudFuze. My role includes conducting security assessments, completing Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and ensuring our solutions meet industry standards and client security expectations. I regularly fill in security questionnaires, RFIs, and handle Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) as part of my day-to-day activities. Additionally, I coordinate with third-party security consultants to obtain any necessary information, ensuring a comprehensive and seamless compliance process.
Customization Estimations: I handle the full process of estimating time and costs for any client-requested customizations that go beyond our standard features. So when a client wants a new feature that we don't currently support, I gather their requirements, discuss them with our product team, and figure out how much time and resources we need. Based on that, I give the client a clear cost estimate so they know what to expect.
Project Timelines and Roadmap Planning: As a Presales Engineer, I'm responsible for setting project timelines and defining the project roadmap. I analyze the client's requirements, like migrating from Google Clouds to Microsoft Clouds, estimate the total data size and object count, and consider factors like API throttling and client deadlines. I then collaborate with the infrastructure team to estimate server needs and lay out a clear project roadmap before handing it over to the project management team.
Subject Matter Expert (SME), CloudFuze: Acted as the primary source of in-depth product knowledge for CloudFuze, serving as the go-to expert for sales, business development representatives (BDRs), development teams, and new hires.
