Has been working since 1983 in teaching, research and consultancy. Guided/Guiding students for their doctorate degree. Has been an investigator of ISRO & University (VTU )funded research projects. Completed water management/flood studies/slope stability projects for renowned clients as, steel plants, distilleries, irrigation department, non government organizations and corporates
Working in the area of Water Management adapting to Sustainable Practices and Climate Change. Some of the areas of work include Flood Risk Assessment, Impact Analysis of Water Recharge Structures, Environmental Site Assessment and Water Management Plans. these studies are accomplished through geospatial techniques augmented by computer based simulations.
