  • Key contributor a project aimed at automating the digitization of P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation diagram) from images, pdfs, etc.
  • Initially focused on the proof of concept, which included devising algorithms to identify lines from images, integrating it with outputs of ML model and efficiently representing them in graphs.
  • Using Django, transformed the POC into a fully functional backend including features like Azure login/authentication, comprehensive logging (both audit logs and database logs).
  • Developed a multistage pipeline workflow, storing intermediate output at each stage in db. Used plugin-based architecture in stages using which we could enable or disable features based on client’s requirements
  • Developed multiple APIs using which end users could systematically and easily configure, trigger, monitor and fetch results from the workflow.
