NatWest Group In-house Project-ORIC Reporting

Using Tableau Server/Desktop version (2022.2, 2023.1) as a front-end BI tool and AWS-Athena as a back end database designed and developed workbooks, dashboards, global filter page, and complex parameters based calculations. Also, used xDP framework for file ingestion and ETL process.

• Get the requirements from the client/ internal stakeholders of ORIC team and understand it in depth
• Created Tableau dashboards for multiple applications such as whistle-blowing, operational risk, surveillance etc
• Designed Data models in tableau from Athena using SQL.
• Working as Site Admin on Tableau Server: Add Users and Set permissions according to Projects, scheduling of jobs.
• Created dashboards using PostgreSQL to monitor activities for all projects/workbooks
• Working on xDP (eXpress Data Pipeline) framework (which is our in house File ingestion, ETL, and BackFeed extracts generator.
• Approx. 2100 files (2 TB) are ingested on a daily basis using xDP pipeline.
• Developed ETL pipeline to optimise data for analytical purposes sparkSQL to store data in parquet format.
• Developed Airflow DAGs in python to simplify daily file ingestion and collect automated logs.
