I was always interested in linguistics. My fascination for the German language was sparked by my conversations with my uncle, who is a resident of Germany. I am aware that German is taught in a few institutes in Kerala as well as other cities across India. But my decision to apply for German course in Germany itself is borne out of my belief that it ought to be learned and imbibed right where it is the way of life and culture and to know, speak and understand it like a native German speaker.
