- Assess creditworthiness of existing or prospective clients
- Carefully analyze data and produce clear and objective reports
- Adhere to credit policy and guidelines and perform cash flow analysis of businesses to determine risk involved in extending credit
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, changed requests, refinancing and annual due diligence
- Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk
- Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to managers, especially findings that involve a borrower's ability to repay
- Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing credit applications
- Review credit applications and perform credit checks
- Helping supply chain and sales departments in managing financial orders to help them control credit exposure, make payments on time, and reduce the risk of customer disputes
- Identifies delinquent accounts through the review of individual customer files
- Presenting recommendations to senior management and credit onshore team.
