· Lead the design & development of entire Automotive Lighting product throughout the PEP7 phases.
· Analyzing the customer specification, legal requirements and providing feasible design solutions considering DFM & DFA.
· Defining the best combination of lighting technology with minimal cost attraction and involved in customer negotiations.
· Interacting with OEMs of the projects on regular basis.
· Collaborating with various CFT teams like Simulation, Production, Optic, Thermal, FEM and Testing Departments.
· Leading the DFMEA discussion to define risk points for the product.
· Leading a team of Design Engineers and Verify,Validate & Optimize the mechanical design & responsible for Design Verification Plan(DVP&R).
· Responsible for proto build & light mock up activities during different stages of the program.
