Title : SNOWFLAKE MIGRATION

Project Overview : The primary objective of this project was to modernize the data infrastructure by migrating the existing on-premise Oracle databases to the Snowflake cloud data warehouse and transitioning the ETL processes from Informatica PowerCenter (PC) to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). This involved a comprehensive assessment of the current data environment, including various on-premise databases, files, and cloud databases, followed by a strategic migration plan. The goal was to enhance data processing efficiency, ensure seamless data integration, and leverage the scalability and advanced analytics capabilities offered by the Snowflake platform and Informatica IICS. This transition aimed to provide a robust, scalable, and cloud-enabled data infrastructure, improving overall data management and analytical capabilities.

Role & Responsibilities:

● Led the project from on premise data to cloud, transitioning from Oracle database to Snowflake platform.

● Successfully converted Informatica PowerCenter mappings to IICS mappings to optimize data integration and transformation processes in the cloud environment.

● Conducted comprehensive testing of IICS mappings and data in Snowflake to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.

● Implemented regression testing methodologies to validate the integrity of data transformations and mappings throughout the migration process.

● Collaborated with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during migration and testing phases.

● Documented migration procedures, mapping configurations, and testing results for future reference and knowledge sharing within the organization.

● Played a key role in ensuring a smooth transition of data and processes from on premise infrastructure to the cloud, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

Title : DATAHUB

Project Overview : The business objective of Datahub is to create a single consolidated cloud platform for all banking related products for the organization. Data is sourced from various on-premise and cloud databases which are cleansed, transformed and shaped efficiently as per business requirements and are processed and loaded into Cloud databases. The data is further consumed by customers for analysis and information purpose. The data from the DATAHUB databases and warehouses are also consumed by different downstream teams for reporting and visualization activities .

Role & Responsibilities:

● Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and Support in Data Warehousing and Informatica IICS.

● Develop the mappings and workflows for various complex Business logics.

● DBA for Snowflake for creating DDL as per data model.

● Extensively used workflow variables, mapping parameters and mapping variables.

● Created ESP Jobs to run the Informatica taskflows.

● Have adequate domain knowledge of banking processes and related architecture (Credit Card/Accounts /Counter-party/ Loans/ Deposits )

● Maintained mapping tasks and monitored to ensure timely data load into the tables.

Title : LCR (Liquidity Coverage Ratio)

Project Overview : The business objective of LCR is to provide the organization wide liquidity status/reports to various financial regulatory organizations across the globe on daily, weekly, monthly as well as quarterly basis. Large volumes of daily data is fetched from various in-house and 3rd party applications which are processed and shaped efficiently to be converted into critical regulatory reports as well as data visualizations for leadership.

Other tertiary activities include further processing of data for downstream systems and maintenance and upkeep of the whole treasury infrastructure.

Role & Responsibilities:

● Development, Implementation and Support in Data Warehousing and Informatica Power Center 9.x, 10.x.

● Develop the mappings and workflows for various Business requirements.

● Extensively used workflow variables, mapping parameters and mapping variables.

● Created unix shell scripts to run the Informatica workflows through control m.

● Have proficient knowledge of 3rd party applications primarily the FIS treasury suites (Quantum 5.x and 6.x with in-depth knowledge of BO/FO/MO operations and their underlying data structure)

● Have adequate domain knowledge of treasury processes and related architecture (Card merchant/ Payments/ Receivables / Loans/ Deposits )

● Maintained workflows monitor to ensure timely delivery regulatory reports.
