Python Developer at a International Finance Institute (10/2023 - present)

• Currently working as a Python backend developer for a leading Finance Institute on building one of their in-house tools.
• This tool basically fetches data from dictionary tables based on a particular input, such as job name, report name, or proc name, and gives the user an idea of how optimized the job or proc is. This allows the user to work on it and significantly improve the performance if it is not optimized.
• Also, the user can compare, evaluate, and see historical performance.

MDM upgrade for an International bank (02/2023 - 08/2023)

• Performed upgrade of MDM from 3.4.0 to 4.6.0.
• As it was a major upgrade with multiple hops, so the challenge was immense. Also, first migrated in assessment environment and then on three main environments.
• Developed an automation script to automate the entire upgrade process, so that a person with zero knowledge can perform the upgrade.
• Debugged and made code fix for issue that arose due to the upgrade.
• Coordinated the entire production upgrade process with the PSS team of the client.

Migration from mainframe to Teradata for a leading US based Natural gas and Electricity Company (11/2022 - 03/2023)

• Developed an entire ETL framework that reads data from a flat file and ingests it into various tables, as per the logic written in the mainframe. The client wants to replace the mainframe with Teradata and Power BI.
• The files were processed as per the client's calendar and in sequence. The calendar was maintained on a database table.
• The data was processed using a series of SQL statements.
• Also, developed basic reports using BTEQ and shell script.
• Interacted with client on a daily basis to understand their needs and incorporated them into the framework as much as possible.

MDM Upgrade and Migration for a leading multinational Healthcare Industry (07/2022 - 11/2022)

• Worked as a consultant to upgrade RDM from 4.4 to 4.7.1.
• Figured out the issues in the product, as this is the latest version, and worked with the engineering team to debug and fix those.
• Configured third-party application with the current product, such as Okta, for SSO login.
• Migrated the product from on-prem to cloud.

Snowflake to Teradata SQL Accelerator/Converter (02/2022 - 06-2022)

• Worked as a developer for the Advocated stack team to develop/build an application that would convert Snowflake-compliant DDL statements to Teradata-compliant ones.
• Also figured out ways to overcome export restrictions in the Snowflake environment that would help customers avoid manual exports.
• Develop new features to give a detailed analysis report in the form of graphs and charts, both pre- and post-conversions.
• Helped to build dynamic dashboards using Power BI for better analysis.

MDM Upgrade and Development for a leading US based Beverage Industry (08/2021 – 01/2022)

• Worked primarily as a tester to point out issues related to UI and customer experience post product upgrade from MDM v4.1 to v4.6.
• Debugged issues that were pointed out by the client related to functionality.
• Actively supported in MDM product upgrade in multiple environments.
• Made modifications in the solutions using various features present on the UI.

• Worked on POC on Senzing to determine its capabilities and how it can be an ideal replacement for the existing matching engines.

• MDM Developer for the China, South Korea, and Thailand divisions of a leading multinational automobile company, to implement Customer Data Management by preparing a central hub for storing more than 15 million, 7 million, and 5 million data from other legacy systems, respectively.
• Worked with a solution architect for the design and overall implementation, including data integration from various sources and mapping related work to incorporate various attributes with the already present data model.
• Daily engagement with the client to understand the various challenges they are currently facing and the upcoming requirements, change requests, and enhancements that might help them in the future.
• Worked with project manager for sprint planning of multiple releases and enhancements.
• Worked with the IIS team to make them aware of various standardization and cleansing rules that they need to develop via DataStage.
• Worked on data profiling to check data quality and availability of various attributes to configure sample pair generation (system generated scores for matching criteria based on sample data). Reviewed the matching result with the client's data analyst and produced optimized scores such that there are minimum false positives or false negatives.
• Developed customer service to add/update data, store the complex relationships between multiple tables of a highly normalized database, and designed match-merge process to handle hundreds of attributes.
• Developed complex SQL queries to extract data stored in different tables to provide a holistic view of customers.
• Collaborated with client and business users during UAT to support them whenever required. Also, explained to them the various match process and how scores were generated by the matching engines.
• Remediated data to move discrepancy between multiple systems, to keep all in sync.
• Worked with business analyst and client to schedule automated scripts accordingly such that it does not impact business or other market's(country's) scheduled tasks.
