Demand Forecasting & Strategy

• Develop demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical models.
• Align forecasts with business objectives, collaborating with sales, marketing, manufacturing
• Monitor demand fluctuations due to seasonality, promotions, and external factors.

Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization:

• Maintain optimal safety stock levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory, reduce obsolete inventory while maintaining service levels.
• Work with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure supply meets demand.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and sales teams to develop a synchronized demand plan.
• Support new product launches by forecasting demand and ensuring production readiness.
• Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to drive business alignment.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and service levels.
• Develop continuous improvement initiatives for forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
• Provide regular reports on demand trends, supply risks, and operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement in the demand planning process

Process & System Improvements

• Utilize SAP, ERP, and advanced analytics tools like planvisage, Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) for demand forecasting.
• Develop dashboards and data visualization tools like Power BI, Excel for real-time insights.
• Continuously refine demand planning processes for improving the accuracy.

Demand & Inventory Planning – Forecasting and managing inventory to ensure optimal stock levels across the supply chain.

✅ SKU & Network Mapping

• Maintaining Mapping Masters for structured supply chain management.
• SKU Rationalization & Segmentation to optimize product assortment.
• Spoke-Hub-Region-Zone Mapping with MWH/CWH for enhanced distribution efficiency.

✅ Secondary Distribution Planning (West Bengal & North-East India)

• Managing logistics across 4 HUBs and 17 Spokes for seamless last-mile distribution.
• Ensuring effective stock replenishment and availability.

✅ Fixed Journey Route Plan (FJRP) Rationalization (West Bengal) – Optimizing transportation routes for improved efficiency and cost savings.

✅ Sales & Logistics Coordination – Aligning with Sales Teams & Regional Logistics In-Charges to ensure effective inventory management and demand fulfillment.

✅ SAP Transactional Role

• Raising STOs (Stock Transfer Orders) for stock movements.
• Locking/Unlocking SKUs for NPI (New Product Introductions) to facilitate smooth product rollouts.

✅ Reports & Insights – Analyzing Inventory, Supply, and Sales Data using Excel for performance tracking and data-driven decision-making.
