Project Name: Equipment Identity Register

The Equipment Identity Register (EIR) is a core network component that forms an essential part of an Operator’s fraud prevention strategy. One-EIR provides a software-based implementation of the Equipment Identity Register on IT standard platforms. The One-EIR stores Equipment Identity Data (IMEI) and provides a mechanism to restrict malicious user terminals in a mobile network.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 5 test engineers to test Equipment Identity Register on CNF environment which is part of UDM across 3 services of 5G,4G and 3G.
• Solely responsible to come up with functional test strategy, automation strategy for new features and product development.
• SPOC for 4LS R&D support for customer issues.
• Efforts and detailed analysis for new features, test scoping, cross functional collaboration across different teams.
• Responsibility includes bringing-up test labs for 5G and 4G on Nokia prop. K8s clusters, on OCP to test 5G and 4G EIR.
• Automation of new functional features using Robot Framework.

Project Name: Performance testing for Microsoft SAEGW

Microsoft's Mobile Packet Core solution offers mobile network operators the agility and flexibility necessary to keep up with traffic demand, to scale their networks and deliver differentiated services tailored to specific use cases.

Responsibilities:

• Performance testing of new SAEGW features deployed in CUPS and Non-CUPS setup on Azure and Openstack.
• Designing Performance call models using in house tools like MMESim, PCRF to simulate calls and traffic.
• Generating Performance reports for Memory, CPU, Task utilization etc over Microsoft PowerBI to be consumed by higher management with various data sources like Azure Table Storage, CSVs.
• Automate Performance tests using Shell and TCL framework.

Project Name: Azure Private 5G

Azure Private 5G is an Azure Cloud Solution for deploying and managing 5G core NFs on an Azure Stack Edge (ASE) device as a part of on-prem Private Mobile Network for Enterprises.

Responsibilities

• New feature Performance testing of Azure Private 5G using IXIA Landslide.
• Testing Upgrade scenarios and benchmark performance release over release.
• Generate reports/graphs for different performance cases for Memory/CPU, task utilization.

Project Name: Diameter Routing Agent

DRA is an application server on cloud native (CNF)and on VNF environment which provides a series of application plugins for diameter message processing and routing.

Responsibilities:

• Design of test plan and execute test scenarios for new product feature release by release.
• Execution involves simulating various Diameter calls according to the scenario and interface to test.
• Installation and configuration of CNF and VNF solution on Openstack and VMWare vCloud Director.
• Automating test cases using Robot Framework and Shell for features , regressions and robustness .
• Analyzing the system and performance using various opensource software's such as Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger.
• Single point of contact for resource allocation of labs inside R&D scrum.

Project Name: TelMex SBG Upgrade

TelMex Mexico is a leading telecommunication service provider in Mexico. TelMex has 22 SBG nodes spread across the country. The SBG nodes are primarily used to provide IMS services for fixed lines as TelMex is predominant in fixed line network.

• Perform pre-upgrade steps and then performing the actual upgrade of the live and non-live SBG nodes.
• Performing platform upgrade and then upgrading the application within the maintenance window provided by the customer.
• Basic troubleshooting of the SBG node.

Project Name : AT&T VoLTE testing

• Test plan design, preparation, reviews, execution and analysis of test cases for LTE and VoLTE network.
• Involved in End to End testing of LTE and VoLTE including RAN, EPC and IMS.
• Testing of Core network elements with Ericsson and ALU line ups for LTE and IMS scenarios along with log capture and analysis.
• Analyzing 4G RAN logs using QXDM.
• Involved in regression, Integration and smoke testing, capturing the pcap logs, analyzing and updating in HPQC.
• Analyzing logs captured during execution, converting them into pcap files and uploading in HPQC for Onsite review and future reference.
