• New product development in all domains which satisfies IS / required standard and get it approved by Third party lab for commercial aspect.
• New chemistries also explored to incorporate in to paints to enhance the Performance properties.
• Writing detail report and submitting to the Management with complete Literatures survey to support claim and results recorded.
• Maintaining a collaboration between R & D , Marketing & supply chain to deliver the project in time.
• Managing team of 15 Researcher for different departments by identifying the individual strengths for better output & creating a healthy atmosphere for work.
• Leading the Establishment of New R and D setup of 28000 sq ft area from Green field includes Discussion with consultants for legal requirements , Architect for designing the lab and building .
• Interacting with Different vendors for Evaluation of instrument as per requirement & Procurement .
• Analyzing customer feedback data to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions.

  - Received 'ROTS' award for good work on Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose.
  - Silver Arrow award for extensive work on Analysis of various Paints for detail Benchmarking study to identify the composition and performance of paints.
• Composition study include extraction of binder followed by Identification of Binder by IR spectroscopy.
• Identification and quantification of Titanium dioxide by UV spectroscopy.
• Developed test method for detection of cobalt metal in Drier which helped in identifying the route cause for slow drying of paints.
• Worked in collaboration with vendors like Ashland , AkzoNobel & Dhariyal for Cellulose based thickeners to develop suitable product for different Paints for Low and Mid shear thickeners.
• Evaluation & Testing of alternative raw materials in Paint design to optimize formulation & boost the purchasing power ultimately by reducing cost.
