In charge of all the electrical / electronics and automation on board ships. Specialization in troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning electrical equipment in general shipboard electrical system, auxiliary equipment, propulsion support systems, cargo support systems.

· Auxiliary Boiler automation, Burner control systems, Safety systems etc..

· Main Switch Boards / Group Starter panels.

· Main Propulsion / Aux Engine automation/control systems.

· Various Hydraulic power packs.

· Different level gauges for cargo / bunker tanks including the radar gauge type, pressure transducer types etc..

· Communication/navigational equipments.

· Central Alarm monitoring system including data acquisition & periodic testing of different alarms of all the associated machineries.

· Calibration of equipments.

· General lighting systems.

· Electrical Motors, single phase/3 phase.

· HVAC systems.

· Maintenance and Repair of Variable Frequency Drives.

Laying out and accomplishing installations and upgrades. Able to work from schematics, blue prints or other technical directive, including P&I diagrams, recognition of general electrical symbols. Maintain high degree of safety in work accomplishment using proper permit to work system and lockout tag out systems. Performing preventing maintenance. Ability to work and positively contribute in a team environment
