Lead and ensure safe ship recycling operations in compliance with Ship Recycling Rules, 2019 and Gujarat Pollution Control Board requirements. Carry out HIRA/JSA and identify HAZMAT as per IHM with safe handling and disposal through the GPCB manifest system. Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and supervise high-risk activities like hot work, confined space entry, work at height, and lifting operations. Ensure gas testing, fire protection systems, equipment inspection, and PPE compliance. Monitor pollution control, waste segregation, and emergency preparedness including mock drills. Investigate incidents, maintain safety documentation, coordinate with authorities, and promote a strong safety culture.

Lead HSE activities and ensure regulatory compliance across project sites. Conduct induction programs, deliver job-specific training, and present HSE topics to promote awareness and competence. Prepare and maintain key HSE documentation including HSE Plans, HIRA, JHA/SWP, and SOPs. Set, monitor, and review HSE objectives in alignment with project requirements.

Take responsibility for OHSE documentation and coordination across 5 projects, ensuring standardization and effective implementation. Prepare HSE documentation as per contract conditions during initial project bidding stage and post-award for client approvals.

Inspect welfare facilities and perform routine site inspections to identify, report, and rectify hazards. Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective and preventive measures. Organize emergency mock drills and design safety awareness materials such as posters and toolbox talks.

Develop training calendars, conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA), evaluate training effectiveness, and coordinate with external trainers or certifying bodies to ensure workforce competency.

Ensure continual site safety compliance and follow up on audit findings and non-conformance closures. Support the Country Head in implementing new safety procedures, documentation systems, and checklists across PAN India projects to strengthen overall OHSE performance.
