Organization Overview: MP-SULM operates under the Department of Urban Administration & Development (UADD), Government of Madhya Pradesh, and is responsible for implementing the National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) across the state.

Key Achievements:

• Managed 60 skill development resource agencies across 407 cities in Madhya Pradesh.
• Facilitated skill training for approximately 196,041 urban unemployed youth, with guaranteed placements for 115,000 candidates after successful assessment and certification of 175,000 by Sector Skill Councils (SSCs).

Responsibilities

• Oversaw end-to-end processes including documentation, handholding support, supervision, empanelment of skill development partners and the development of a robust MIS system.
• Played a pivotal role in creating employment opportunities for urban women through the Self-Employment Program.

Organization Overview: CG-SRLM operates under the Department of Rural Development (DoRD), Government of Chhattisgarh, implementing the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) to empower rural communities.

Key Achievements:

• Managed 12 skill development resource agencies in Chhattisgarh, trained 100,000 rural unemployed youth and provided guaranteed placements of candidates.
• Played a key role in creating employment opportunities for rural women as community resource people, focusing on sustainable on-farm and non-farm livelihood interventions.

Major Initiatives:

• Led the rollout and implementation of key programs, including MCP-CIF, MKSP, SVEP, and CMSA (Community Managed Sustainable Agriculture).
• Facilitated the establishment of organic nutrition kitchen gardens (36x36 Model) and promoted commercial SRI, SWI, and vegetable production among SHG women farmers for improved livelihoods and nutritional security.

MP-SRLM is governed by ministry of the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department, Govt Of Madhya Pradesh implementing the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM)

• Led programmatic, administrative, and financial management as the overall in-charge of the Barwani District.
• Facilitated coordination with government departments, and implemented the CRP strategy under NRLM.
• Achieved convergence with MGNREGA and the Agriculture Department for natural resource conservation, orchard development, and vegetable cultivation to enhance livelihoods and community nutrition.

• Worked in MPRLP as a District Project Officer in Jhabua, Sheopur and Barwani, District training & capacity building officer-PRI & sustainable livelihoods through Animal Husbandry & Agriculture, and Subject Matter Specialist of Gender & Social Protection.
• Core functions include designing the sub-projects, strategy & implementation of project activities through PRI institutions, facilitating gender & equity sensitization among the community & project team members, promoting enhanced participation of women in livelihoods programs, promoting non-discriminatory sharing of resources & benefits, developing protocols for village level micro-planning process.
• Implemented livelihoods interventions through convergence with different Government programs in micro-enterprises, agriculture, livestock including small ruminants, conservation of Natural Resource for sustainable of resources and livelihood of people.
