· Currently handling Procurement of all kinds of capex items with total spend of Rs. 25,000 Crs. for India’s biggest Blast Furnace, 6 MTPA Pellet Plant, Hot Strip Mill, Caster, Utility, Raw Material Handling System, Cold Rolling Mills & Oxygen Plant for entire group consists of all manufacturing locations.

· Saved more than $ 50 Million till date through Clean sheet costing, Total Cost of Ownership, Benchmarking & Theory of Constraint initiatives

· Leading the Global Sourcing for whole project to enhance the supplier bases, reduce dependency & increase cost competitiveness across the globe.

· Lead the Digital Transformation drive for SCM function and coordinating with Plant Senior Management to Set up & smooth functioning.

· Initiating different kind of sourcing strategy for regular Opex items

· Ensure continual improvement of Cycle time for conversion of PR to PO.

· Standardization of Processes & maintaining uniformity of Terms & Conditions across all group location.

· Driving Consolidation of Contracts across all location.

· Take Initiative to curb redundant processes/ sub processes to increase overall efficiency of the System.

· Managing contracts for project expansion of 4 MTPA consisting for Basic Oxygen Furnace,(SMS) Coke oven, Blast furnace, Sinter plant, Raw Material Handling System and for existing 1.5 MTPA Capacity plants like Electric Arc Furnace, DRI, Coal Gasification plant, Power plant , Process boiler and Pre Fabrication Plant.

· Preparation of pre tender documents for inviting tenders, Preparation of Bill of Quantities, estimation & costing, floating of enquiry and clarification for Capex & Opex contracts.

· Preparation of Zero based costing for contracts

· Evaluation of pre – qualification and short listing of contractors/ supplier,

· Doing Negotiation with the qualified bidders, preparation of comparative statements & finalization of the contract. Issuing of Work order & Purchase Order based on SAP system

· Development of New vendors

· Preparation of Standardized Schedule of Rates and terms & conditions of the Annual Contracts.

· Analysis of Vendor Performance & Price Variance analysis. Control costs through the most effective uses of available resources & standardizing the processes.

· Ensuring smooth co-ordination with project management team & concerned department. and corresponding with Suppliers/ contracts on scope of supply and specifications.

· Evaluation of variation of contract, settlement of claims in an optimised way & closing of contracts.

· Responsible for generating periodic performance report consisting of cycle time analysis, schedule of rates, contractor performance

· Responsible for reviewing cost reduction of contracts

· Sustaining contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other document for all projects
