• Responsible for mechanical equipment works in SMS Caster area
• Erection and alignment of Ladle Turret, segments, guide rails, pedestals, roller table, pump house etc.
• Supervision of technological structure and equipment work for SMS CAS-OB area.
• o Erection and alignment of transfer car, snorkel, oxygen lance, temperature lance, bunker, vibro feeder, weigh feeder, booster fan, ducts, and mast arm with winch etc.

Mechanical Works (July’2003 to March’2011)

• Erection of Structures, Kiln, Cooler, Piping and Conveyor line including all mechanical equipment’s and commissioned successfully.
• Part of the structural fabrication and erection of Blast furnace -900 m3 /0.7MTPA.
• Fabrication of different types of structures as per drawing.
• Involvement in procurement of machineries.
• Good command over rotary kiln, cooler, and dryer maintenance.
• Alignment of stack cap and kiln & cooler main drive.
• Good command in maintenance of MOKTALI & BEVCON vibrating screen and coal impactor.
• Changed slip ring of Kiln and cooler. Also changed the graphite rope of Kiln & cooler.
• Successfully replaced the spring plates of 350 TPD Kiln.
• Done the girth gear alignment of rotary kiln - 100 TPD, 350 TPD.
• Done the hot alignment of 350 TPH kiln with Phillips kiln services.
• Done fabrication of shell air tube, feed tube and air tubes of 100 TPD & 350 TPD kiln.
• Changed the bearing and screen cloth of vibrating screen & also changed the drum shaft and bearing of coal impactor.
• Good command in maintenance of different types of magnetic separator i.e. magnetic separation by drum and magnetic separation by belt.
• Changed the drum and belt of both type of magnetic separator.
• Changed bearing of kiln & cooler support roller and thrust roller.
• Maintenance of pneumatic cylinder and hydraulic cylinder.
• Maintenance of screw compressor (ATLAS COPCO, ELGI & IR) & lobe compressor (KAY & USHA).
• Replaced the shell air fan, air tube and feed tube of Rotary kiln.
• Maintenance of conveyor line i.e., replacement of conveyors, pulleys, Idlers, rollers etc.
• Maintenance of gearbox, RALF, DP valve, centrifugal pump, and multistage pump
• Have good knowledge about ESP, both ETS, THERMAX & ACC.
