ADDITION OF FIBERS IN CONVECTIONAL CONCRETE, In a 'CONVECTIONAL CONCRETE' two or more different types of fibers are rationally combined to produce a cementatious composite that derives benefits from each of the individual fibers to that concrete mixture. In this project, steel fibers (0.6mm diameter 30mm length and aspect ratio of 50) and polypropylene fibers will be used individually in the concrete mixture and then they will be added together to form a hybrid fiber reinforced concrete. The compressive strength and splitting tensile strength of samples to be investigated individually by varying % of polypropylene (PPF-0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6% & 0.8%), Steel fibers (SF-0.5%, 1%, 1.5 & 2%) and hybrid fiber incorporation.
