• Steps taken to resolve them consist of: co-coordinating remotely with the site contact to troubleshoot the issue, forcefully bringing the site onto backup if primary is failing, raising fault with the provider, co-coordinating with dispatched engineer, investigating and troubleshooting the router configuration and routing issues if any etc
• Usage of various tools like Veyonce Control to check for configuration changes as well as Vital Suite to check various graphs of network devices showing link, CPU, memory utilization etc
• Familiarization of all sorts of WAN technologies used by the different service providers including Leased Lines, xDSL, ISDN, Frame Relay etc
• Co-ordinate with service providers from all around the world (BT, AT&T, Cable & Wireless, Verizon, VSNL, Telstra, Global Crossing etc) for issues related to their circuits and ensures proper escalation within their teams for timely resolution of customer faults
• Co-ordinate with Hardware maintenance providers like Comms-Care, Cisco SmartNet, NSC Global etc
• In case some faults require hands & eyes support
• Co-ordinate with the client regarding network problems faced by them
• Ensure the client is proactively informed of ticket progress in line with defined notification SLA’s
