Role & Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management & Control: Oversee and ensure the security of all stock, including space management, stock rotation, and periodic stock-taking. Manage slow-moving, obsolete stock, and scrap, while maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counting and record-keeping.
• Receiving & Inspection: Ensure timely receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials, including preparation of receiving documents, rejection notes, gate passes, and job work orders. Maintain up-to-date transaction records and coordinate the efficient storage and preservation of materials.
• Material Issuance & Dispatch: Manage the timely and cost-effective issuance and dispatch of materials to ensure 100% inventory availability across all locations. Oversee the dispatch of materials for job work according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Stock Replenishment & Vendor Coordination: Monitor inventory levels, inform the purchasing department of items reaching reorder levels, and handle urgent material requirements through vendor follow-ups. Prepare purchase orders according to receipt plans and coordinate with vendors for timely supply.
• Warehouse Management: Manage warehouse layout and storage locations, utilizing a barcode system for effective material handling. Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) systems for material management and monitor quality and return process for rejected materials.
• Cycle Counts & Reconciliation: Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile material discrepancies, and control material issues through efficient inventory management practices.
• Inventory Analysis & Reporting: Perform periodic analysis of stock consumption, movement, and wastage. Manage store documentation, inventory control, and SAP-related activities, such as indents, job work orders, and material issue slips.
• Supply Chain & Logistics: Sustain and manage the supply chain network to ensure timely stock distribution and delivery. Evaluate vendor performance to maintain adherence to service, cost, and quality standards.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials by planning and managing material handling equipment and manpower. Implement inspection and traceability protocols, maintain good housekeeping standards, and manage inventory excess and obsolescence reduction.
