  • Demonstrated the effectiveness of this developed model & solver on case study of Ras Laffan Industrial City.

Project: Development and Implementation of solution techniques for Inter-Plant Carbon Network Integration Problems

  • This work is a first attempt to address and define multi-period carbon network integration problem and devise a solution technique for finding an optimal solution with incorporation of carbon capture technologies.
  • Formulated an optimization problem for finding the amount of CO2 to be captured in each period considering the changes in the industrial city.
  • This work was accepted and presented at European Symposium for Computer Aided Process Engineering (ESCAPE) conference, 2015 at Copenhagen, Denmark.
