As a retail assistant I'm responsible for;

• Full understanding of company's product catalogue.
• Approaching customers and serving them in a friendly manner.
• Assisting sales representatives.
• Maintaining window displays and signage.
• Resolving customer enquiries and complaints.
• Ensuring products are presentable and clean.
• Receiving deliveries and conducting stock check.
• Being aware of shoplifting and payment or identifying fraud.
• Restocking shelves and ensuring that the sales floor is organized and presentable.

• Maintains human resources records by maintaining applications, resumes, and applicant logs
• Verifies candidates background by contacting references
• Enrolls new employees by issuing forms and applications; verifying completion
• Communicating with potential job candidates
• Contacting candidate references and verifying education listings
• Managing HR records including, resumes, applicant logs, and employee forms
• Conducting employee orientations
• Maintaining employee confidentiality
• Assisting with the distribution of training materials
