1) Team Management:

• Managing a safety team and providing ESH support to all internal and external customers for construction sites.
• Daily review of site activities.

2) Training and Development :

• Preparing ESH training plan & matrix. Accordingly, scheduling program for all employees.
• Training program on emergency response procedure.
• Conducting new development related to training, development. Job training for all workers & staff trainees through audio-visuals based platforms.
• Training in the work area, use of personal protective equipment, safety precautions, and permit to work.

3) Statutory Legal Compliances, Inspections & Documentation:

• Carry out periodic inspections of the site to identify the unsafe conditions, practices, and report the same.
• Conduct regular trainings on Safety and Health.
• Ensure compliance of relevant statutory requirements.
• Ensure risk assessment Permit to Work System is strictly implemented at the site.
• Maintain checklist of Emergency equipment and ensure that appropriate and adequate PPEs are made available to the employees.

4) Investigations and Audits:

• Ensuring the daily site inspection for unsafe action, condition, work counselling & following up for pending unsafe conditions with concerned departments.
• Scheduling Internal Safety Audits and preparing weekly and monthly ESH reports for reviews
• Daily construction site safety inspection to find out unsafe conditions and unsafe act.
• Investigating accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions.

5) Review Meetings:

• Plan & conduct the weekly/monthly ESH review meeting
• Project review & monitoring according to ESH aspects

6) 5S Standards Implementation :

• Identifying unsafe housekeeping at work place which might result in accidents and injury & get it resolved with the help of site staff.

• Perform routine site inspections to assess working areas and recognize potential risks and hazards.
• Ensure that all construction equipment and machinery are properly maintained and safe to use.
• Verify that workers are equipped with appropriate PPE, and that safety gear is compliant with regulations.
• Record Keeping and Documentation.
• Carry out daily safety observations, and report findings to management for immediate action.
• Conduct safety induction programs for all newly joined workers to familiarize them with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work permit verification.
• Notifying the unsafe act & unsafe condition.
• Organize and lead daily Toolbox Meetings at sites to discuss safety topics and reinforce safe work behavior.
