Key responsibilities :

• Transmit the global LEAN strategy to the local initiatives and KPIs
• Driving the organization to the achievement of the LEAN goals and LEAN culture
• Support the organization in the usage of the LEAN tools through training, workshops and facilitation
• Manage the LEAN projects portfolio as well as own assigned LEAN key projects
• Responsible for the local LEAN qualification program
• Derive local communication strategy from the global one
• Functional and line leadership of the regional LEAN coaches
• Elimination of different type of wastes in manufacturing & office process processes
• Monitor the ongoing CICO Projects at the regional level
• Coordinate kaizen activities throughout the organization
• Process Improvements through various LEAN tools & techniques
• MIS & KPIs like Ontime Delivery(OTD), Cost, Quality(COPQ), Inventory etc. all Lead & Lag KPIS in the organization
• Initiatives like layout revision & approval, process flow mapping , inventory reduction, cycle time reduction, capacity & capability improvement etc.

Special areas of responsibility

• Lead regional monthly continuous improvement conferences(CICO) (with use of Strategy deployment board)

Key responsibilities

• All shop floor activities to achieve production goals like Safety,Productivity and Quality
• Production and Manpower planning including union handlings
• Continuous improvement activities like of TPM, 5S, KAIZEN, POKA-YOKE, VSM and 8D etc.
• Motivate production associates work in teams to solve problems with various problem solving techniques
• Ensure safe working conditions
• Reducing cost by reusing of Tools and machineries
• Improve process and coordination for the process & customer audits
• Recourses optimization including manpower management
• Coordination with all stake holders in production processes
• Full fill all customer requirements set by the customers like GM, VW and Mahindra Lines

• Trainee Production Engineer
• Achieves targets sets by management for all production & shop floor activities and manpower handlings
• Feed raw materials into production machinery
• Assemble goods on production lines
• Monitor the production process
• Carry out basic quality and testing checks
• Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse
• Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders
• Pack goods to be shipped
• Maintain work areas and equipment
• SAP entries of Produced Items in SAP PP module
