• Leading Co-generation (Total 76 MW installed, 22 MW in pipeline and 36 MW in project stage) and utilities i.e., steam, cooling water, DM water, process water in five establishment of Phillips Carbon Black Limited, two of them located in Gujarat, one in West Bengal, one in Kerala and one upcoming in Tamil Nadu, to enable high level of business performance in running plant as well as to upcoming new projects.
• Established regular business and technical performance review at corporate level of all co-generation and utility facilities and providing technical support and guidance to plant teams for improving reliability, energy efficiency, resource conservation, cost reduction and quality control.
• Providing technical support to project team for new equipment and technology selection for co-generation and utilities for 22 MW in pipeline and 36 MW upcoming project. Lead team from front and successfully commissioned 8 MW co-generation facility in Gujarat unit during current FY.
• Responsible for planning and executing to achieve budgeted PBT from power sale and to take care of timely government approvals, all commercial and regulatory aspects in coordination with different departments.
• Developed and implemented performance improvement strategies and plans to promote continuous improvement, i.e., CAPEX for additional cooling water cell, energy improvement and water conservation projects. Reliability road map etc.

• Drove year-over-year business growth while leading operations, strategic vision, and long-range planning by leading team of 70+ regular employees.
• Ensured safe, economic, and efficient operation of gas and liquid fuel based three captive co-generation plants and large utility section comprising raw water pumping station and 80 km pipeline, raw water treatment plant, large fire water network and pump house, DM water, cooling water, process water, compressed air system, nitrogen oxygen plant etc. within defined quality control parameters.
• Improved plant productivity and reliability through management of change process and CAPEX process from conceptualization to execution, i.e., improved insulation in steam pipeline, condensate recovery, effective leak management etc.
• Root Cause Analysis of all kinds of failures and action tracking for compliance to achieve global benchmarked performance in area of asset reliability.
• Ensured compliance for audit recommendation for energy audits, integrated management system audits, technical audits, process safety management and workplace safety management audits, business process improvement audits etc. and involved as auditor for inter department audit within company. Received best audit team award. Provided IMS audit training to 500+ regular employees.

• Joined IPCL as Management Trainee based on all India written exam and subsequent selection and progressed to as Project Engineer/Senior Engineer/Deputy Manager/Manager and to Senior Manager in Integrated off-site and Utilities department. Hands-on experience of project commissioning and subsequent operation and maintenance.
• Responsible for day-to-day operation and maintenance of large integrated utility. Developed 200+ standard operating procedures and trained employees.
• Participated at Corporate level and implemented at site level large-scale change management projects and initiatives including, introducing new systems, tools, and processes to support attainment of challenging objectives, post-merger of IPCL with RIL i.e., Reliance Operations Management System, Process Safety Management System, Integrated maintenance, and materials management system, learning and development initiatives, global business excellence model etc. with performance benchmarking.
