  • As project head, achieved successful project planning with designing of a concept paper in collaboration with the team and issued Expression of Interest for Engagement of Consultant for developing Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Implementation of Indian Single Sky Air Traffic Management at Nagpur (ISHAN) was with due approval of AAI Board. First of its kind in India and world. This project will be a game changer in Air Traffic Control over Indian Airspace in terms of operational efficiency, fuel saving, cost saving and reduction in Carbon footprint.
  • For the first time in AAI, New technology project of ATS Message Handling System (AMHS) and Dynamic Database on PAN India basis has been implemented successfully. Project cost Rs. 53.48 Cr.
  • Achieved Implementation of quality management system ISO 9001:2000 for ANS services at Nagpur Airport and ISO 9001:2008 certification for Quality CNS, Air Traffic management, Terminal management, & Security services at Jodhpur Airport.
  • Achievement of (a) Acquisition of 37 acres of Indian Air force land for the Jodhpur (Civil Enclave) airport development. (b) Acquisition of 60 acres of land at Jaipur airport by removing the encroachment of 158 tenements on AAI acquired land on 4th March 2015. Excellent collaboration was established with the Government of Rajasthan, Chief Minister office/ Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, Jaipur Development Authority, Jaipur Municipal Corporation, Civil Defense Authority and D.M./Collector Jaipur, for construction of Parallel Taxi Track and establishment of CAT-III facilities and operation at Jaipur Airport.
  • As Airport Director of Nagpur, Jodhpur and Jaipur Airports, achieved introduction of new commercial facilities for best passenger experience thereby resulted in remarkable enhancement of Non-Traffic Revenue at these airport as well as Overall Airport Service Quality (ASQ)/Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).

  • Making Electronic Project: Since my school days, Physics-Electronics was my favourite subject and had a hobby of constructing the basic Physics/electronic models based on the principles of Physics. I used to participate in the inter-school state level science exhibition for the students regularly and won the awards, such as Basic working model of Telephone System, Radio Transistor, Fire Alarm System, Intruder Alarm System, Persistence of Vision etc., and still maintaining the passion.
  • Singing: Singing is my hobby since childhood and still continuing with this hobby. During my school annual day celebrations or NCC camps i used to participate in the cultural programmes and presented my singing skills. I normally sing the songs in Hindi and Marathi language on Karaoke systems. Mostly, i like old bollywood songs of great singers Mukesh, Md. Rafi, Kishore Kumar, K. J. Yesudas, Hemant Kumar, Mahendra Kapoor.
  • Driving: I purchased my 1st Car in the year 1998, and learnt Car driving, since then i am loving Car driving. I used to travel long distances in my car such as Nagpur to Udaipur (Rajasthan-India) almost 1000 Kms, Nagpur to Raipur, Jaipur, Agra etc, with self driving. I like this passion and want to further travel throughout the country by my own Car and see beauty of the Incredible India.
  • Travelling: I like and love travelling which is my hobby too. It may be short distance or long distance. I have widely traveled throughout the country as well as abroad and visited many places. I have visited all the major/minor places in India and countries in Europe such as Norway, U.K., Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Turkey, Brussels, The Netherlands, and France. In USA, i visited New York and Orlando, and in Asia, Traveled to Thailand . Additional Information

  • After my graduation in Electronics Engineering (B.E.), I participated in all india selection tests-Interview for the post of Electronics Officer in Airports Authority Of India (AAI) and got selected in the year 1989-1990.
  • This was my first and last Government (PSU) job. I worked in various capacities in AAI for 34 years and based on my abilities and skill sets, got elevated to senior positions such as, Senior Electronics Officer/Senior Manager, Dy/Jt. General Manager, General Manager and Executive Director (E-9 Level).
  • In my 34 years of career in AAI, I got opportunities to work in multi discipline departments such as, Airport Director (Airport Head/In-charge) at Nagpur, Jodhpur and Jaipur Airport on selection within the departmental selection process. I served as General Manager in Directorate of Information Technology of AAI. Thereafter, my organization has picked/selected me as General Manager-Vigilance at Corporate Vigilance Department of AAI and elevated in the same department as Executive Director-Vigilance.
  • In the capacity as Executive Director, i worked in the Directorate of Project Monitoring and Quality assurance along with Department of Corporate Affairs and even headed the administration of the Company Secretary dept of AAI. I have also served as Executive Director (Administration) of AAI at Corporate office, New Delhi.
  • CNS is my parent parent Cadre, and served as Executive Director (CNS-Planning), and finally superannuated from the services of AAI on 30th June 2024.
  • During my service career of 34 years in various department of AAI, i have learnt lot many things from my juniors and senior colleagues, various stakeholders in Airport Management, Government officials, National, International bodies such as DGCA, BCAS, Ministry of Civil Aviation, ICAO, ACI, CANSO and IATA . Collaborated with each and every one in the field with good team work for successful delivery of the service to AAI.
  • Wherever I served in AAI in various positions, i brought success for the organization with best achievements in all the departments.
  • Learning, Understanding the subject in depth, quick decision making and effective administration is my forte. I give ample opportunity to my juniors to train them and extract good results/work output in the interest of an organization.
