The company offers wireless communications, data/broadband and internet services, local and long-distance telephone services, telecommunications equipment, managed networking, and wholesale services. AT&T also develops, produces, and distributes feature films, television, gaming, and content in physical and digital formats.

AT&T has large IT footprint. AT&T infrastructure consists of 40K+ physical/virtual servers, 1500+ multi-vendor storage arrays, 1100 SAN switches, 128PB block/file data and 200PB backup data spread across 28 strategic datacenter, and few remote datacenter.

Leadership responsibilities:

• Stakeholder management: Co-ordinate with client on storage maintenance, data migration and tech refresh efforts
  Transition: Designed transition questionnaire, Work with previous supplier and client to arrange transition call, Identify and leverage better SME for each technology transition. Validate asset database for accuracy.
• Strategic initiative: Update management with project and work status. Drive Strategic initiative of LOB. Leading CoP(Community of Practice) group for storage and backup capability.
  Automation: Work with developers and SAN, NAS, backup, OS support team to identify and implement automation idea.

• Researched and gathered data for 28 data center, optimized client DR setup, and achieved annual cost saving of 528000$.
• Scheduled, maintained and led weekly meetings with client and vendors.
• Reviewed hardware contract of over 40000 EOSL assets, helped client to identify and remove 1850 assets which were decommissioned over years. Which helped client to reduce monthly maintenance cost by ~200000$.
• Responsible for Code compliance SLA of Storage environment, maintained storage codes of approved N and N-1 version at 98.5% against contractual target SLA of 95.4%.
