• · Preparation of welding and NDE plan as per ASME Sec VIII Div. 1 vessels.
• · Review of Technical Delivery Condition (TDC) for raw materials, filler wire, and electrodes as per applicable codes and standards.
• · Raw material inspection of plates, pipes, flanges, tubes, gaskets, fittings, formed heads, fasteners, and welding consumables as per approved drawings and technical delivery condition.
• · Review of material test certificates as per purchase order, codes and standards, applicable specifications, and identification of raw materials, including welding consumables.
• · Conducting fit-up inspections and welding inspections before, during, and after welding stages as per drawings and applicable codes and standards.
• · Monitoring the welding process, checking welder qualifications, reviewing WPS for suitability to weld a joint, and preparing weld data sheets.
• · Coordination with testing laboratories for testing materials and weld coupons.
• · Conducting VT, LPT, RT, and UT at various stages of inspection.
• · Radiographic Film Interpretation.
• · Reviewing the PWHT charts for cooling rates, heating rates, and soaking periods according to specifications, codes, and approval charts for PWHT of completed vessels.
• · Positive Material Identification (PMI) of raw materials like ferrous materials, fasteners, and gaskets.
• · Verify and maintain the calibration status of necessary inspection and testing instruments.
• · Ensure proper non-conformity detection and recording, as well as resolution and implementation.
• · Conducting all inspections for pressure vessels and storage tanks, etc.; witnessing hydro tests; pneumatic tests of pressure vessels and storage tanks.
• · Conducting a surface preparation test of the anchor profile check and a salt contamination test for vessels.
• · Conducting painting inspections for WFT, DFT, and adhesion tests and final visual inspections for overall equipment.
• · Implementation and Documentation of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Systems.
• · Coordination with third-party inspectors (TPI) during inspection.
• · Preparation of raw material identification reports, stage-wise inspection reports, and all documentation as per project requirements.
• · Preparation of a Manufacturer's Data Report (MDR) for Coded Vessels and Inspection Dossier for all projects as per client requirements.
