  • Engine performance enhancement through engine layer and machine layer calibrations for BSVI vehicles, with stringent emission requirements. Prototype software development for vehicle data analysis for engine cold-side and hot-side virtual sensors, actuators, and controllers.
  • Worked on a multi-variable linear regression-based machine learning algorithm for virtual sensor tuning, using the transient and steady-state data collected from the engine test cell.
  • Validation testing and controller tuning for machine features such as engine torque control, road speed governor, engine stop/start, etc. Through vehicle trials on BSVI trucks, tippers, and buses. Battery data and performance analysis for stop/start capability.

  • Modeling and simulation of Hybrid Electrical Vehicle with subsystems as engine, transmission, battery, motor, and vehicle dynamics using MATLAB simulink. Validated the models with the measured vehicle data and tuned the parameters for system identification.
  • Successfully completed an R&D project with a European automotive customer with high CSAT rating. The project called for extensive study of vehicle subsystems and present to the customer innovative ideas for reduce the number of sensors in a vehicle.
  • Worked hands-on with few of the sensors for data measurement and noise filtering techniques such as Kalman filter as a part of Proof-Of-Concept. Presented one of the business proposals to the company board members.
