Transaction Filtering

• Conducted thorough analysis of financial transactions, identifying and investigating suspicious activities.
• Experience in reviewing and investigating transactions with reference to payments by recording public searches and escalations further if identified containing potential matches against sanction lists : OFAC, OFSI, United Nations, European Union, US Export and Internal sanctions list.
• Possess strong analytical and investigative skills to identify and resolve potential issues arising from payment alerts.
• Ensure all the alerts are processed as per the Standard Operating Procedures of the group.
• Monitor activities of assigned areas to ensure compliance applicable with internal policies, procedures and external regulations using World Check and other relevant systems.

PEP Screening

• Investigating high risk clients and reporting where necessary, including Politically Exposed Persons, and obtaining all necessary documentation to complete the client file.
• Handle alerts following the client database against the list of PEPs, refereeing to the procedures and operating guidelines.
• Play a role of SME by conduct training sessions and preparing documents for training sessions for the team to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform second line of quality check on all the alerts performed by other analysts.
