Brand management: Strategic brand management has been Vimal’s core area of strength. For over three decades he has been helming mega brands especially in the IT, Automobile and CPG spaces. Vimal was responsible for building Intel’s strong presence in India in the late 90s. Using sound strategy and a comprehensive marketing and communication platform he helped build the foundation for Intel to launch a strong presence in the Indian market. Other IT brands that Vimal has worked extensively on are Wipro, Compaq, HP and Acer. Toyota, Yamaha and Suzuki are the key auto brands that he has gained deep expertise on
