Roles And Responsibilities

Incident Manager

  • Operationally responsible for Critical Incident Management on 24x7 on call rotation basis.
  • Manages and coordinates activities across all technology domains and 3rd parties during critical incidents including ensuring correct resources have been allocated to the incident.
  • Establish and manage technical conference and provide input to the management bridge.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communications to internal and approved external stakeholders including management.
  • Minimizes impact of incidents or events on customer experience.
  • Ensures end to end support, coordination and control of Incidents.
  • Ensuring a consistent method of Incident logging is practiced and ensure Post Incident Report (PIR) is delivered with details of incident and corrective actions.
  • Act as a single point of contact for the customer and the business during critical incident.
  • Incident Manager Team management, including coaching, mentoring and HR activities.
  • Support Service Level Management with continual improvements activities towards the incident management process.

Mobile Private Network (Yancoal, Australian coal company)

  • Service Delivery: Ensuring that network services are delivered to clients as per the agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • Incident Management: Handling network incidents and outages to minimize downtime and restore services quickly.

RAN Engineer

  • Analyzing fault from alarms found in network.
  • Handling TT's (Trouble Ticket) using PT4 for Minor, Major & Critical Outages & Tasks assigned to field or TSG(Technical Support Group), when intervention of them is required.
  • Tasks will be dispatched automatically via SWA (Simple Workflow Automation).
  • TT & Task Closure activities.
  • Diagnosis of MCMU/BCSU/CLS/EMB and performing Switch Over at Preventive Maintenance Window or when Faulty condition is observed. Code loading of BSC Units.
  • Handling Hardware Issue like TRX, ESMA Faulty, VSWR, RSSI issue, Cabling and Connection issues, Cooling fan issues etc.
  • Taking BSC Backup on monthly basis. [Fall Back and MO Backup].
  • Attended indoor training on Exploring GSM/GPRS/UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+/LTE.
  • Undergone indoor training in GSM Fundamentals and DX200.
  • Specified knowledge in GSM technologies.
  • Special Care to Clear Call drop alarms. Preparing Site Performance report on daily basis.
  • Preparing NWA (Network availability) Report, Health check Report, Performance Report and TT Report on daily basis. Expertise in MS-Excel & MS-Word Related Report Preparation.
  • Real time alarm monitoring and escalation.
  • Documentation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of faults found in Network Element.
  • Re-Commissioning of BTS, RF Cabling Modification & Traffic Addition using Flexi Edge BTS Manager.
