Provide expertise and leadership regarding Solutions Architecture for database management systems, including Oracle, AWS Aurora and RDS PostgreSQL Databases.
Develop high level project plans, identify resource needs, participate in development, and work closely with the database team members to meet the deliverable. Ensure system supportability prior to production utilization.
Deliver sustainable database solution/technical architecture to solve business problems in line with organizational vision and product & technology roadmap.
Identify automation opportunities to improve database operational efficiency. Plan, develop, and roll-out such efficiencies to the stakeholders.
Expertise on migrating On-prem Oracle databases to AWS Cloud Infrastructure using AWS DMS and deep understanding of database replication using tools such as PgLogical and HVR.
Deep understanding of database cluster management areas, such as scaling, backup, security, failover and multi-region configuration.
Experience in Agile Project Management using Scrum methodology including product backlog management, handling sprint planning meeting and reviewing burndown charts.
