Key components of the NAPS is to generate documents (electronic & hard copy) and queries for packaging inventories by type, size, pack Qty, packaging vs. production capacity simulations at a part level for both NM & MP, roll-up OEM supplier packaging allocation summaries, packs purchased and purchase history/reason, control packaging drawings & revisions, customs paperwork, and log packaging change requests to reflect drawing control.
NAPS were created as a new Packaging Tracking system to replace the existing PDTS that changes the viewpoint to a New Model & Mass Production that supports packaging processes from both supply chain points of view.
NAPS will be primary reference for packaging control by New Model, Mass Production Packaging Associates, RCC Control Associates and Transportation Associates.
