- As part of OSTI Program - was exposed to functions of various divisions of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).NHRC is an independent statutory body established by Government of India under the statute of Protection of Human Rights Act 1993.
- Received guidance of and interacted with various NHRC Officials which include IPS Officers, Indian Army officials, superintendents of correctional facilities, Director and Jt. Directors of commission, forensic experts from AIIMS. Presented a group research project on topic allotted by the commission - “Human Rights and Counter terrorism Laws in India”.

- As an ER fellow I was in close contact with of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly (MLA) members who are law makers for the state of Maharashtra. These MLAs are directly elected by the citizens for representing their constituency in the state.
- Thus, it is duty of Elected Representatives to address and resolve the problems pertaining to his/ her constituency. To observe how Members of Legislative assembly raise a particular point in the state assembly, our team of fellows were in constant contact with the Elected representative. This included learning from on field experience of working with MLAs. Received an opportunity to attend Yearly Monsoon and Budget session of Maharashtra Legislative assembly at Vidhan Bhavan, Mumbai.
- Learned to file an RTI. Gathered data from the field, later also learned its analysis and contributed to the publication of certain white papers released by Praja Foundation.
- During this fellowship I was also part of the organising team of ‘Prajatantra 2022-2023’. A National level youth festival organized by Praja foundation in association with National Institute of Urban affairs (NIUA) - India’s leading national think tank on urban planning and development. The grand finale of this youth conclave was held at Vigyan Bhavan Delhi as part of India’s G20 Presidency. This Youth conclave also was part of India’s Urban 20, Youth 20 initiatives. The youth conclave was organized jointly by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

- Our team of Interns also helped conducting safai-mitra training programs aimed at promoting better financial planning among Safai Mitra organized by M.B.M.C. in collaboration with National Safai Karmacharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC).
